The VN looks pretty good, the paint looks semi-gloss however. But as long as your happy with it. :thumbsup:

Have you got any photos of yours cds?

ive got pics comming, ive taken some as I've been going (there on my friends camera) i've just quickly put up a low res one off my phone (which has a **** camera) but you will get an idea of result at the moment by it, tried to get a shot which shows refelection off the light so you can see the gloss effect so far. I'll get the ones off the camera hopefully by weekend have to ask my friend no idea how to get it off it lol.

On a 4th coat @ 1200 grit it's looking very nice when its dry although I have got a very very unnoticeable orange peel effect nothing I would even be bothered about.. but to some they might be.

I'm having issues tracking down, some 1500+ grit sand paper any suggestions?

Wow thats looking awesome mate! Check bunnings or supercheap, ricer barn or any hardware store. I got some from bunnings but supercheap here also had some.

I just did a 4th coat and still 800 gritting it but heres a pic of the shine.
