Hey All

Can anyone help me out with my problem? What direction should my button be facing to fire? and how would i make it face that direction while the dizzy is lose?

If your timing is at tdc then it should point to the first cylinder i think thats right.

Yep, thats correct.

Goon, to make it face no 1, mark where no 1 is on the actual dizzy (where no 1 on cap sits on the dizzy) remove the dizzy cap, undo the lock bolt and turn the dizzy. When the rotor lines up with the mark you have made you are in time.

Hope you could understand that, sorta hard to explain...

It's slowly getting there, atm everytime i turn the key the rotor button seems to be facing a new direction, what would cause this?

I'll try again anyway, i won't give up :ranting:

Now i think autobarn sold me the wrong button today :(

It's halfthe size of my old one

9231064306 - old
9231064326 - new

i thought it was okay, but i didnt notice the 2nd last digit.

Okay ive swaped my rotor button to the old one, lined up with number 1 and atm on key turn i keen here something either clicking or popin a bit, the sounds is odd ike exhaust.. any help?
