hard part is bending the air conditioner heat exchanger up and out of the way without busting the lines.
Just wondering is the bearing wear normal and how many K's has yours done.
No,you do NOT have to take the engine out to remove the cam shaft.

Yes,it can be difficult,but NOT impossible.
So the engine noise you were getting before were the bearings?
