Hey Guys/Girls.

This is my first time on here so not entirely sure how it works.
Just curious if anyone can tell me if installing a strut bar to my VZ Clubby is worth the money or is it just for show?
Iv done a bit of work to it and it's now pulling 321 RWKW and when I do go around corners I do feel like the front end slightly twists, if you know what I mean.

So questions for you:
Would a strut bar make it handle corners better?
And is there a specific type that I should look at?

Thanks for your time

Chappy

i wouldn't be getting a strut brace unless i had already done the work on shocks, springs, bushes and a bigger sway bar first.

So Iv already had installed all MCA coilovers throughout and had all my bushes replaced a little under 2 years ago. I didn't touch the sway bars though.

They must do something for the chassis.
Holden put them on Monaros and the AWDs as standard.. Still get them new > GM part # 92112662

More likely the suspension is still squirming not the strut towers flexing. Did you use rubber or poly bushes? Strut brace is easy to fit, so at least it will only take half hour of work to find out what you can gain.

To be honest I can't remember. I went through Fulcrum Suspension. They are blue in colour so probably Poly.

Yes blue ones are poly. That's about as hard as you can go.

Yes they stiffen the front end.
Your car should've been fitted with one.
VT to VZ should all have them as the towers can shift over pot holes.

Don't worry about sway bars just do the brace and leave it at that with the coilovers.
