Q. do the series 2 V6 alloy fuel rails fit on a s1 engine?

i have a suspect regulator and the alloy fuel rail looks easier to mod (drill&tap) to suit a aftermarket high flow regulator to suit upcoming mods that will require substancial increase in fuel flow

yeah, the s1 rails are black and have hex drive ends for the crossover pipe on the front. i want to use the alloy rails because i think i can tap em. the s1 pipes i definitly can't modify without a lot of hassle

OK I have that type on each of the 88 and 89 VN's And have a solid pipe unit in the shed. I never fitted it - just used a few injectors from it.

you want the aftermarket reg after the stock reg in the hose really a lot of the aftermarket rising rate regs dont hold pressure well so normally run them after the stock one still get the same pressure control just the stock one holds the pressure better when stopped and during starting.i dont know if the manifold has suyitiable bolt holes to hold the injector rails down or not either

won't be using a rising rate reg. they are crap in my opinion and not needed if tuned properly with the correct injector sizing. i'll be using a adjustable reg so i can get more acurate pressure control.

the alloy fuel rails shouls also polish up real nice:D

make sure its a bloody expensive one mate they are know to run at different pressures from day to day and heat effects them i know a lot of people have issues with them never keeping pressure correct even with the $200-$300 ones all show not much go stock works suprisingly well really

I'm kinda thinking the same, you wont be able to make enough boost to need really big injectors or more pressure, just super 6 injectors and stock regulator is the go
