Well i will. I'm getting rid of the VN shortly as i've just picked up a VX. I've learnt so much about modern cars from the VN and i have a lot of admiration for the buick engine. It can take just about anything you can throw at it as long as you maintain it mechanically. All i hope is that the person that buys it off me will treat it well.
LX SL Hatchback. Was immaculate till I clobbered a tree which made it not so immaculate any more. I'm not that fussed about it. Have had a lot of nice cars since then and can honestly say I don't miss any of them. I'm not sentimental when it comes to cars. Reaper
kinda miss my first car, it was a vl calais 5 speed, sold it to some guy before i got my p's and he wrapped it around a tree 2 days later lol
i voted yes cause i miss my 72 corona it had been in the family for 3 generations ........... it currently sitting the the shed in a million rusted pieces waiting for me to fix it up
well im currently on my first car but when it is gone i wont miss it because there have been more bad or embarrassing moments then good moments and i cant wait to get rid of it around june
My first as an 1990 EA Ford. Cheap as hell to fix if it had any issues. I think the main thing I miss about it is that I didnt care about it. I didnt care whether a mum with a baby swung their 4WD's door into it. It already had plenty of "shopping center" dings. Now I drive an immaculate VZ SV6 which I really care about and always carefully go through a list in my head before I park it somewhere. Is there a baby seat in the back? Is it a crappy car? Is it a two door car with long ass doors? Is it a tight spot? Will trolleys be taken between these cars? etc.. I miss not worrying about my car more than the car itself.
well i dont really miss my first car, cos it was a magna, but having said that i did like the car for what it was, a cheap reliable run around wagon with plenty of room for me and my mates. less can be said bout my current car the ol vs ute, definatly not enough room for me and more than 1 mate
I kinda miss my 1st car, a VH base model. I liked two things about it, I don't care too much is someone runs into it (still wish I had it too slam brakes on when someone is tailgating me by about 2 metres) and I thought pouring fuel into carby on cold winter morning was character building.
I only miss my first car because, if I still had it, it would be worth something. It was an FB Special, purchased for $200 in 1970 and sold for the same amount the next year. It cost almost nothing to run (my first ever petrol purchase was $2 worth for half a tank) and I remember buying a replacement horn contact kit for 11 cents from the local Holden dealer.
My first car was an XF ute. Yeah to this day I still miss it! What I loved about it was that is was easy to work on, and spare parts were cheap. Also, being a ute, it was more practical vehicle when I occasionally help out my parents on the farm. I also miss the carrying capacity. SO handy when you rock up to a garage sale, as you never know what you'll find!
hell yeah, it was a HQ kingy with the original 308 that ran 14's all day, me and my mates that i grew up with used to run amok big time in that thing around newcastle! its still sitting in my backyard until i get a shed built then its off to the panelbeaters for a no expense spared straightening and respray
Bad or embarrassing moments? way you said that sounds like a few "im sorrys" have been said on the back seat lol.
do i - yes what was it- vl , was standard but did it up a little, (was perfect) why i miss it- lol, cause i bloody road it off, well wasn't my fault were driving down hwy to work, everything sweet as....... then woke up with the ambo screaming at me asking what drugs i were on, opened eyes n front window was all shattered, i said 'what the. fark' passed out and woke up in hospital and were told i had epilepsy.. first fit ever. foot flat to the floor spaz'n out, jump'd a concrete colvent took out about 13 mid sized trees and a farmers fence and stopped on a big stump 100mtrs into the bush.. was a bloody big jump thou, car was cactus,
