Hi All,

Just after a bit of clarity, will stroker kits (408 or 427) described as LS2 Stroker kits, be compatible with a VZ L76 V8 Engine?

I am just wanting to make sure that I will have a few stroker options for the L76 engine. Basic searches so far seem to suggest that the LS2 kits will fit the L76, but was hoping someone might have a bit of experience in actually doing this to say, yep that's how it works.
Cheers!

More cars than I've got space to park!
I am 99% sure that all Holden & HSV Gen IV 6.0L (LS2 / L76 / L98 / L77) engines used the same block casting, being 12568952

That number should be cast into the rear of the block just below the back end of the left hand cylinder head, just above the bellhousing...

If in doubt, confirm your casting number with whoever is supplying the stroker kit, if they don't know which blocks their kit suits then I wouldn't be doing business with them.
