Does anyone else ever do this?

I laugh when i see a FWD with claims of 600kw at the wheels Try driving that away from gutters and tree's..

But last night i was behind some little hotted up fast and the furious car, It was tuned up big and it sounded good, But! it was wet it rained about 1 hour ago and as he was leaving the lights he was very tentative as it was slipping about.. Hate to see how it would go when it's ****ing down he'd be as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.

But them little buzz boxes with big turbo's make huge power numbers, And with AWD they go great. But most do make them for numbers not km's on the street like a everyday car or even a weekend car.

 

I don't even take any notice of those magazines. I walk up the the rack, grab the street machine, walk to the counter, grunt like a real man and pay.

 

I appreciate cars that are modified tastefully, and usually frown at the 1000hp cars that claim they drive down the shops and back....yeah right.

I'll buy the mag is the cover car looks decent. Bought the one a while back that had the targa top 300ZX, and a street fords one that had the orange XR8 with mostly black wheels

Im the same but replace "Street machine" with "Street Commodores" and less the grunt...

 

My newsagent is great as the car mags are next to the 'adult' mags too..... hahahaha

But yes if there's a flashy cover car or a decent Tech section I will buy it.

yeah i do that abit lol. what annoyes me more is seein these big 20inch pizza cutter wheels on a new hilux or one of those new landcruisers looks so crap

 

I usually dont look at them anyways.

The rice car drivers probably laugh when they see street commodores and street fords and street machine mags!

 

I grab Wheels magazine because they usually say good things about HSV/Holden where as Motor likes to put **** on Holden whenever possible. Drive is even worse, they are Toyota nut-swingers.

 

i generally have a squiz if im' hanging out in borders and i've already got that months SC/ SMC.

i remember one where they compared some tricked blown civic to some tricked NA civic, and they started the section off with like "now, even though NA is useless/crap..."
