Does my ve have a race chip?

Like said there is no such thing on a VE. If you have a search through the forums you will see people claiming they have a cop tune or cop tune. It's merely BS. You could have your VE dyno tuned as there is no chip but like mentioned early on it won't make much difference on a stock engine. Cost wise it would be a lit for little gain.

Ours was today. That pupil free day thing was deferred for regional purposes so it probably applied to a number of Hunter Region schools.

It was smoother and quieter but lacked torque and maximum power didn't come in until higher in the rev range.

Cop cars get bigger brakes, trans coolers and a couple of lighting options. There’s no engine performance upgrades or tune as such.

In all seriousness, the first owner may have changed diff ratio and given it a good dyno tune. That would explain the difference.
People say don't bother, but other people can, and do. So ya never know.
