    When I lock the at with the button. I run the lock in the door the opposite say. When I go to unlock the at I have to straighten the door lock back to normal position before it will unlock with the key

    ^^ As above, its supposed to be like that on VN to VS models. With the later models you just have to press the remote twice to activate the deadlocking feature, and it can be undeadlocked as well via the remote, a way better idea than the earlier setup.
