I've got the SuperPro bushes for the Z bar and control arm. I'm gonna put em in over Christmas. Should i be doing anything else to the front end while I've got it apart like Ball joints or tie rod ends without wasting time or money ?
It's done 240 000 K's and all the front end is original but has new struts.
Are the ball joints likely to go soon or do they last forever ? ;)

    vs commodore V6 S2 and a BA XR6T
well the last 2 cars i had (vn and current one...VS) i redone the whole front end (and rear) on them both neither no some if not most of the parts on the VS didnt need it lol. but the VN really needed it haha (320 000 k's...vs only had 76 000 but i lowered it at the same time) lol

but i was told that the ball joints rarely flog out on the VR/VS but mainly the Z bar bushs and the tie rod ends...possibly rack ends. Stabaliser bar rubbers and strut to bearings and mounts would be the ones id be changing while its all apart

Oh and lower control are inner bush...this one i didnt change on me VS as they looked good and looked like a prick to change...although i do have 2 new bushes here haha

    Thanks guys.
My rack seems to be leaking a little from each end, enough to make the rubber boots wet. What exactly are rack ends ? Is it a seal and will it fix my prob ? Is it easy or am i better off putting in a reco rack ?
