Sounds about right but I seem to recall that there might be an O ring instead of a gasket but I could be wrong about that.
To bleed it, run the engine until it reaches operating temperature, then unscrew the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing slightly, air should escape and then just coolant should come out. Close the bleeder valve. Repeat a few times untill all air is gone. Don't burn yourself.

Because I don't have a hose (people cut it up >.<) I unplugged the top and the bottom of the radiator and it leaked out which is what I wanted it to do I guess? Then I pured 10 or so buckets of CLEAN water through the top of the radiator. Untill it was clean coming out of the radiator. I then plugged it back in (was getting dark and couldnt see anything) and put coolant and water (was concentrate) and then left the cap off the radiator and let it idle for about 5 mins at about 2000 while a mate was watching it for me and then the water stopped bubbling and it seemed to be building up pressure and the coolant started to pressure up and rise over the radiator top so I put the cap on.

Sound good? or is that entirelly wrong?

It will do for now, it's got to be better than what was in there before. You still need to bleed it or it will most likely overheat.
Did you get 6 litres of concentrate in there?

The list of things to fix you have provided seems very daunting, keep at it but try and do as much as you can with good second hand parts. If you were to buy a newer car now would be the time before you sink any money into this one. Once you start spending its probably better to finish the job. I just spent heaps on mine in the last 6 months including among other small things $2k for roadworthy then $1.85k on transmission and now $2.5k on sexy new lsd and gears. it definitely starts getting scary and makes no sense if you don't plan on keeping the car for a very long time. If you are looking for a good mechanic in your area google will often tell the truth as disgruntled customers often like to vent their frustrations.

Thank you all so much for your input up untill this far. I have taken a huge step in regards to looking into fixing my enging and getting it back up to par. An excellent person on here has been able to help out a great deal in regards to getting some parts I need REALLY cheap which I really appreciate. Now i'm just asking you guys if you have any thoughts on how much it would cost me to have the following in my car replaced/put in if I have the parts so purely just labour wise?

    Control arm bush
    P/S pump: Retail
    P/S rack: Retail
    P/S rack
    Tie rod ends
    Radius rod (Castor rod) bush
    Engine mounts
    Rocker cover gaskets
    Inlet manifold gasket
    Pinion seal
    Diff seal
    Front pads
    Rear pads
    Front rotors
    Rear rotors
    Leads
    Alternator
    Thermostat
    Heater tap

Last time I had work done I was ripped off so just looking for rough figures so I can save for this aswell. The above in parts is costing my about $1800 which I am happy well REALLY happy with. Also if there is anything else that is cheap or may be worth doing during this process please feel free to point it out!
