So last night I was a tad tired, about to go to bed, and ended up playing with my phone, as you do. I went into the hidden diagnostics menu thing and had a play around with the tests and stuff, simply because I was bored. Then I went for the "Factory reset" option without thinking. It didn't even ask, "Are you sure?"! Which means I lost every single damn photo I've ever taken on the thing (including a photo I took of me and a girl I met at a bar back in Brisbane when I was down there back in Feburary - thank **** I still have her number!!!), as well as every single text message I've sent this year. Its only a cheapie, so it doesn't have bluetooth or any support for removable storage, so don't hassle me about backing up - were I able to, I would have!!!! Oh well, I guess it could be worse - I could've lost all my numbers too - which thank **** were backed up onto my SIM!
Owned. Same applies for when your drunk. guy i worked with was ****ed and called up work and started abusing the nightfill manager. next morning he didnt even remember it until he came into work and we started laughing at him.
im paranoid about that! i was out a few weeks ago and was wearing a hoody with my phone in the front pocket. i made sure it was rolled up tight with no way out when i was taking a wizz
ive used master reset a few times, due to my phone bein up **** creek, and i still have all my pics and files etc... so something must be up with that, if u lost all pics...
Yeah, thats what happened to me, just got my $500 phone that very day, got drunk, went down the toilet, but luckly it lived after a day or two.
when i was 15 and working at coles, i saved up and bought a brand new flip phone. its was the bees knees anyways, opened the box spent 2 hours on the phone to some indian setting it up etc etc. Put it into my pocket then bumped into a camping table, cracked the ****ing screen. Iv destoryed about 20 phones since then and im on number 4 for this year already. i cant understand how i keep smashing them
When working with computers years ago I had a rule... "Never ever delete files after midnight" (this was in the DOS days before the recycle bin came about)
yeh i almost done that once (not drunk though haha) ...hit the rim and bounced "over" the bowl and "just' mad it past and fell to the floor....man was i thinking ..."**** that if it went in it can stay there" hahaha (was at a fuel station so who know what has gone in and out of the dunnys there haha
How do you do it, or what phones do you buy? I had a Nokia 1100 (candybar) for nearly 3 years, still have it actually, and still use it sometimes (when the LG is being recharged mostly), and she's still going strong. Now I have an LG that i picked up for 69 bucks earlier on in the year, only because I thought it was about time I got a cameraphone.
I had a friend drop his phone into his beer when we were out one night. Pulled it out and it was still good, so he did it again and it hasn't worked since
This year iv had a two 6120 classics, one N70, and one N95 ( currently dying now ) Ill buy one of those tradesmans phones but they are ****ing massive and wont exactly fit in my pockets easily
my parens bought me a nokia 8210 when they first came out for xmas and my sister is STILL using it, she loves it so much she refuses to let it go!
6288's are the worst phone ever. period. i take care of mine and ive had it replaced and the replacement repaired twice. in 10 months.
Haha reminds me of my 3315..... I spilt beer in it, and the screen went back the front and upside down, last a couple of days then come back to life.... I figured it was drunk. Funnily enough this happened alot of time (nearly every weekend thanks to me always leaving my phone on the table), the longest it lasted was two weeks, before it came back to life. That phone just wouldnt die.
