Door, boot locks and ignition replacement

My car is going in for a respray this week and while it's there I wanted to get the doors and boot locks replaced to match the ignition barrel.

Has anyone used the Rare Spares kit and do they install without any issues? Is there anyway of having the glovebox lock changed to also suit?

I have had a locksmith re-code the ignition barrel to match all other locks, so I assume they can do the reverse?

I bought a complete new kit (2 door locks, ignition barrel and boot lock with keys)...from evil bay ($90) and then fit the new ignition in - it wasn't that hard...

The only problem is you get copy keys not original Holden keys... but if you find/buy a Holden blank key (which can be expensive - about $100), get it cut to suit but...

Reason why I ask is because the car is going to be resprayed next week and I was going to fit new locks

good quality imo, ive got a full kit from RS.

fits with ease....and can be done in less than an hour

Thanks! Managed to get a lock set and it even came with the original black key mould that hooks onto the key ring (minus the Holden badge)
