door cards clips need a chop out

so im trying to get my trims of to reupholster them. i found a mad post but he never went into detail on how to get the five screw clip things off. any help

Are you talking about the metal nut shaped things? I use a socket and a ratchet the plastic lugs are like shitty screws.
