Can you buy new door check straps ? I'm sick of the front doors on Berlina never staying open.

Have you seen how much any NOS units go for on ePrey ? you'll be unpleasantly surprised.

Check Holden, I got mine a couple years ago and was reasonably priced. Get a new pin whilst you are at it too.

Pretty sure they are now obsolete as are many Holden parts for Australian manufactured vehicles are.

Holden have no intentions of having large warehousing like they had in Dandenong. They are just getting rid of most slower moving parts where there's no cash to be made over the short term.

VY and VZ are already hard to obtain body type bits for.

Local Holden spares told me two years ago that VT was about as far as they were going back at the time. Anything pre VT was pretty much obsolete, with the exception of a few bit and pieces. There seems to be a dealership in Adelaide who stocked up on obsolete parts and now sells through eBay, but he is not cheap and hits you hard with freight costs. I have bought from him before simply because he was the only seller who had NOS.
