door courtesy light cover

i have a slight problem with my wh statesman door courtesy light popped the plastic cover off and now dont know how to put it back on
tried pushing it back on but it just falls off again anyone know how these things are held on
here are a couple of pics of what im talking about

all fixed now that part is not supposed to come off oops:bang:
had to melt it back together :thumbsup:

Hey Jafo I'm thinking of installing something like these in my Exec. Do those lights come on when you unlock the car etc, or only when the doors are opened. If it's when the doors are opened, do all four dooorlights come on or just the opened door? Ta.

no they dont come on when you unlock the door
they come on when you open the door and only the door that is opened
