Hello I have had both lockactuators replaced on my VZ SSUte and the driver's door is still not unlocking properly. I have toclimb in the passenger side andpull it all the way up. The onlyway to lock and unlock my caris manually with the key.

First up I'd have a look at the wiring coming out of the door and going into the body near the hinges, check that it's not freyed or severed.

I have the same problem with drivers door on my wagon but only after rain.
One day I may actually pull the door trim and have a play to see what I can find.

Mine does the same only after heavy rain.
There is an o ring on the door lock, maybe that has something to do with it?
What ever happens, water is getting in somewhere and messing things up.

I had Holden change both actuators & they can't find the problem :(

There is always the possibility the new RH lock and actuator assy the Holden Dealer fitted is faulty.

I’ve had the door card off quite a few times, nothing seems out of place or set incorrectly.

I’ve swapped the actuator with another known to work properly. Still does it.

I solved a similar issue on the rear as being a stretched rod between the opener and the actuator. (This forum helped with that)

I know the drivers feels a bit loose when opening. Maybe yours is too?
The rod on the rear didn’t feel loose and was bent a little while doing some previous work. All working now with some reshaping to shorten it a bit.

The technician could easily bend the rod without knowing while installing the actuator.

Hope some of this helps.
