I priced the speaker grill recently, $67 each. That is for the rear door. Highway robbery or what?

quite pricey considering its a common thing for people kick it as they get out of the car.
getting a custom metal mesh one and painting it the same as the interior would be better and stronger. at least if it cost $67 for a metal one you know it will never brake. if it dents just pop it back out.

hmmmmm..........i might just sell that idea....:yeah: :whistling

good luck trying to get them out too, i couldnt figure it out so i ended up leaving them in.

Hey Guys, Im abit of a loud stereo person, and ive put new door speakers in and to get the speaker Grills off, you got to take the whole door trim off first, well yeah a stupid idea, i know.

the grills are part of the door skins
well mine sure was
i have a 98 series 1 vt commodore n whne i took the front speakers out the grills were like heat pressed into the skinns

mine a series 2, so maybe that arnt removeable on the series 1, im not sure, but i defently no they came off, they had i think 3 screws holding it there.
