hi i currently have 1 70mm V8 throttle on my 1994 VR v6 acclaim, i was wandering if anyone had any information into converting into a double throttle kit, is it possible for a 1994 vr? and if so if you know where it can be purchased, and what the increase in power is.

much appreciated. thanks.

no increase in power. massive overkill unless you have mods to suit it. your 70mm throttle is already larger than the engine can handle due to the neck size.

you dont really. you would get the same effect if you just pushed the pedal down a bit more with the standard throttle. a v6 doesnt suck enough air to need a bigger throttle

you will get an increase in throttle response though with a bigger butterfly.

stroke it, port n polish, high ratio roller rockers , all of thoes will give u more kick

hmm where can those things be done, and how much do they cost, im pretty nooby with the engine modifications.. been doing looks so far.. only a throttle kit, chip & 2.5" exhaust so far lols.

thanks for the input

p.s i heard that turbos on a v6 are really not worth it, although supercharging are quite good :)
