I remember when this used to happen every friday night about 5 years ago. they would do a rolling blockade, except the racers would do 300kph. They stopped it pretty quickly thou, only happened for a few weeks. Does this sort of stuff happen anywhere else?

that is a tough one.... probably what they were driving, because i dont think many mazda 3's could outrun a cop car on a highway/motorway...
gotta admit MPS' are quick, but on reasonably straight road from a rolling start, it would be hard to outrun a 6T or 6.0
What were the cars that 'used' to race on there to make 300k's? I'm sure a VE HSV would barely manage that now.
