Parking brake warning light lit up when i was driving. Car went into what seems like limp mode. Reduced power. Can't hear gears shifting. Illuminated D symbol next to gearstick gone.

Stopped the car and restarted. Warning light is on as well as check engine light...FML

Anyone had this...or is it just my **** luck with this turd...

Does EPB still applywith the button, or has it stopped working completely?
Were you using it when it illuminated the warning, or was it just random?

The EPB module and cables are a pain to get to. It’s above the rear subframe and not reachable without frame removal.

Park brake seems fine...the light is on when it's applied and it turns off when i turn epb off

it's not just the warning for the low fluid sensor as they can play up and it just used same light in dash ?

Not sure. It's odd that it went into limp mode and when restarted engine light came up too. Brake fluid level is perfect.

I was not using it. It came up when I was driving.
