Looking at some of the catalogs, they name 2 part no.s for the engine/drive belt for the VX V6? Does anyone know why that is ?

VX 10.00 - 07.01 6 3.8 VH <LN3> with AC 6PK2810.6PK2825
w/o AC 6PK2225.6PK2810

Still lists two part numbers for Air Con and no air con. THis is for Bosch belts, but all the same number i think. Were there any pulley changes in this car ?

And there should actually be Three one for Super Charged Engines

"We would like to advise:
There are two belts listed because GMH changed the tensioner pully diameter and the breakover date is very short.
The information that I have been able to find is
10/2000 - 12/2000 = 2825
12/2000 - 07/2001 = 2810
So the build month makes a difference

Please do not hesitate to contact us again if we can be of further assistance."

Above it my response from Bosch. Pain in the arse, thanks guys. Im looking to change my belt as i have had a Gates V belt on for about a year, but i dont like it, slips too much, especially on start up. I heard the Dayco or Bosch belt is much better.
