Hopefully this is useful to someone.
This is for '06 style SS L98 6L engine, series one.
Gen Holden drive belt No. 92290768 (approx trade $ 40)
Gen Holden air con belt No. 9224381 (approx trade $20)
Dayco drive belt No. D6pk1940 (approx trade $50)
Dayco air con belt No. D4pk1080 (approx trade $25) This belt is 20mm shorter than factory standard and should help in not allowing it to throw off the pulleys .
Gen Holden air con tensioner No. 12595289 approx trade $220
Aftermarket tensioner No. 89339 approx trade $116.

No mate , mine is like series one , single tensioner. The above info relates to single tensioner only.

Same here. I read that the 1080mm belt was suitable. Hope it stays on.

Correct smoke yeah 4PK1100 is the gen belt but 4PK1080 is the way to go tight but won't throw.

I can confirm that the 1080mm belt as described above will not come off. I have vigorously tested it to high revs and high speed and no failures . lets see how many kms it will do.

Current: 2007 VE Calais V 6.0L. Ex: 2003 VY S M5
Bought a 07 'VE calais off my parents today, it hadn't been driven for a while. After 20 mins of driving, I put my foot down from start and instantly felt power steering dropped, went up the road and temp shot through the roof. Found both belts off and sitting at the bottom. I think the A.C. belt fell off and took the main drive belt off too. Fixed it on the side of the road, only had 1 adjustable spanner too thank goodness.
First purchase, 2 new belts with the A.C. one 20mm shorter.

Thanks fullas

Make sure the harmonic balancer hasn't got excessive runout also.
