Drive shaft grease/ oil showing

As the title suggests, I was under the car yesterday fitting new shocks (the pretty orange thing to the left of the pic) and noticed the grease/ oil that does not seem to have changed in 5 years/25000 k's
Should I be concerned.
Checked diff oil is ok.

I suggest it’s from the cv boot. It looks heavier on that side than the diff side.

That's normal and is of no concern. Maybe tighten the six in-hex bolts up a little more and clean off with some brake clean.

Thanks guys, next time I am under there doing oil check on the diff around mid year, I will do that.
