Did you buy the ALDI cable from envyous customs?
If you did, the cable comes with software & instructions to load to your laptop. Once you have loaded the software its plug & play.

And works a treat on Windows 10

I've had it working on win7, easy as. So l'm with you there.
I haven't used it on win 10, as only just recently upgraded.
I've also have the videnti400 too.

My laptop is still win 7, my main rig sitting in the lounge is win 10.
I mainly use the laptop for car stuff. Doesn't get used that much anymore, unless playing with settings on the tcu for the 6l50 trans.

You're not going to get support on an obsolete OS, there's probably a fix out there somewhere though

Fairly sure there is probably a simple explanation as it definitely did work with win7.

It definitely did, I started my Envyous journey on W7. It just makes sorting issues difficult when the relevant fixes have been archived into oblivion

I'm still running xp on the efilive laptop. Works great cbf upgrading an older pc.

I had the same issue, and fixed it, but it was soo long ago

It does but if it touches the Internet you could owned in a heartbeat and never even know it
