Hey , I have VX Equipe and was thinking about getting driving / fog lights fitted , my question is on the dash , where on some models there is a provision for the fitting of the switch for the lamps , on mine there is not , would it be possible to fit the switch to the head light switch rather than cutting into the dash , possibly to the dash board light dimmer switch , I could probably live with dim dash board lights , any help would be appreciated . :beer chug:

Anything is possible mate, the headlight dimmer switch would have to dis-assembled and new wires soldered in..
Are you proficient with car electrical systems and soldering?
if not your options are limited...
do you have the wiring loom in your dash for the fog lights if not you will need to wire it up to the battery and existing headlight relays.
to fit the button is easier
The easiest way out is to buy a calais or ss dash fascia that already has a fog light button ho and fit it up

I just used a $5 toggle switch two lengths of wire and plugged it into the foglight loom. That way you have the added bonus of the dash light iluminating when you have your foggies on
