The answer is no, you the Day time running lights go off as soon as the head lights come on, there must be some way of changing this though as the HSV's stay on when the head lights are on.

That's weird. Why would they bother having them turn off? Especially when the HSV's stay on.

Yeah not sure i thought it was pretty stupid my self i want mine to stay on all the time as well i think it looks cool at night having them on , they arnt fog lights so they dont effect anyone. Im hoping i can get a HSV wiring diagram and get it done, might ask my mate to look at it when he puts my speakers and amps in next week :)

Obviously that doesn't apply to Mercedes or Audi's.............

Yeah there are other car brands that have them on all the time. They dim when the headlights come on so they're not too bright at night.

HSV's have permanent LED's as well, They dim at night so you don't blind oncoming traffic.
Wouldn't surprise me if people will start modding those onto the normal holdens so they are permanently on, I bet it's only a $5 controller to dim the lights. ;)
