DRL lights on at night

The question has probably been asked many times but i cant seem to find it anywhere,

Is it possible to have the DRL come on at night aswell as the normal headlights?

Not without a non-factory mod.

It is generally considered illegal to run the DRL lights (NOT dimmed) at the same time as your headlights. Do some searches for ADR's (Australian Design Rules) and the legalities will become clearer to you. Good luck.

They're bright enough during the day, I'd hate to be an oncoming driver at night...

I put them on to have a look at night and thought they looked good, didnt really seem to bright.

Not wanting to do anything that will make the car unroadworthy though so nevermind.

By putting the DRL lights on at night is not cool it is inviting a chat with local police and you never know what else they will pick on

You know what the D in DRL stands for, right?
