Dropped cylinder??

:unsure: Hi there folks, not to sure if ive dropped a cylinder or not.
Was driving along, and it just didnt feel right, not the same power as it used to have, felt bogged down, like sum one was covering the air filter, there a slight knock every now and then. Oil pressure was fine, no lights came up, but when the breakdown guy came out to have a look, when we started it, he said it could be a sparkplug that has broken off??
Whats everyones views??

take the machanics advice and check plugs, leads, etc...
best to get those few easy thing looked at and out of the way then dig deeper if those parts are checking out ok!
also check error codes...

i had a simalar problem with my VR, upon further investigation turns out that the rubber plug on the lead (passenger back) had some how shrunk and was just sitting on the spark plug loosely. nothing a new set of leads didnt fix but . however you said it had a Knock, hmm dont like the sound of that!

The knock could be the harmonic balancer hitting the timing cover...this would also cause a miss when it affected the CAS.

Got the phone call from the machanic today, he pulled the plugs out, all fine. Rocker covers off.
One broken rocker and bolt.
Um anyone had this before??
And if they have, was there any other damage??
