Hey all, trying to sort out an issue for a freind.... ve series 2 sv6..... replaced the dual mass with a single mass..... they cannot get the clutch to disengage... He had a crack at bleeding it.... I have since redone it.... doesnt appear to have any more air and the pedal feels good.... you can start the car with it in gear clutch in but cant select gears once running..... someone mentioned to me that there should be a spacer to modify between single and dual mass..... any thoughts?

Found this video. Don't know why they wouldn't have factored something like this into the design of the flywheel, although it makes me think in your case you would have trouble getting the clutch to engage rather than have it not disengage. I guess it will depend on the kit you used.
