Can i play to?:p
Hardly anyone ever does cos they know they will get whipped:cry: lol
Guys this guy may have a quick gts-t with a big turbo running 2bar putting out 600 hp at the crank.
And theres going to be gen3's out there supercharged that are going to kick ass.
Nothing wrong with quick jap cars in my eyes, same as nothing wrong with a modded gen3 :)

Who needs a s/c? :)

yeah the Ls1 boys will own you good and propper. Just cause you have a skyline doesn't make you the fastest car on the road. Just cause you own a v8 doesn't make you the fastest car on the road. The only fast skylines are the GT-R's that are stroked out to 2.9L just cause you own a GTS-T don't mean a thing it's still slower than a gT-R and a GT-R is slower than a stroked GT-R you starting to get the drift?

the only LS1's you've been beating have had 60 year olds behind the wheel. The ricer loser flyby doesn't count as a race.

Nah, I don't do fly bys. If I drop behind, I don't keep going, and there's only 2 cars I've lost two, one would be a mates 10second GTR, the other to my mates GTS-t because all I did was drop the clutch for a touch of fun and smoke show 1st 2nd and 3rd.

And a GTR isn't the quickest skyline out. Yes, absolutely great in a 1/4mile run. Excellent that way, not so nimble in the corners, with an added weight of over 200KG over the front wheels, they tend to understeer. Rolling run, they get annihilated by cars of similar, and even less power.

And I never claimed to be the fastest. What I first commented on (And you can even go back and have a look if you don't beleive me) is the fact someone claimed to be able to outlaunch a WRX in a RWD.

My mates 8second R33 gets out launched by a friends 10second GTR, BUT the GTS-t makes it all up the moment it's nearing the top of 1st gear (over 100km/h)

Since it's not my car, no I don't have a time slip on it.
Can quite possibly find the one from when it ran a 10.8 on a completely standard internalled motor (Stock cams as well)

As for mine, it's never hit the full strip (Goes there soon as my engine management side is sorted out) but pitted against 13.5 - 14.0 second cars, it's coming down to who launches the best. Most of the time we're bailing out at around 130km/h, so not a full 1/4 run, but the whole way there, door to door)
And it takes around 13.5 seconds (Timed) from a stand still to hit 170km/h... Which is around the speed a mid 13 car should hit, over the standing 1/4.
As soon as we hit the strip, I'll post back in here.
And that's with a torque hole at top end too... (Drops 20KW where it should make 20more then it was)

Might have a dig around, see if I can find the video of my mates car actually running the 10.8 second 1/4 on stock internalled motor.

Edit:

I can't open vids on this computer, but in one of these there SHOULD be his 10.8 pass on stock internalled motor.

Ran the 10.8 at WSID.

Motor has been pulled out, and fully rebuilt.
One of those links above I think may actually show the dyno run of the new motor (757RWHP)

Unsure how many times it came back after the 10.8, but it was there a bit.

As for me comparing my car to a commodore, and it's never hit the strip, what about your guys cars comparing theres to a WRX etc, and they've never ran the strip?

And don't go insulting on peoples choices in cars, I haven't called a Commodore crap. I quite liked them, I had one, I was going to do it up, but how much it was going to cost, it was cheaper to head into an import, and end up faster for the same $$$

I only wondered back in here as I'm looking at selling my ute and picking up another commo as a daily driver, and had a look in here, and couldn't beleive people thought they could out launch a WRX...
Then look, try and say something against a commodore, your shot down in flames. You guys need to take your blinkers off, and go out and jump in a few nice imports and give them a flogging. You might come to realise your big V8s and V6 aren't the be all and end all (And no, I'm not saying my Skyline is either) but seriously, I'd rather be able to sport around in a 400HP car, that returns stock fuel consumption when not being killed.
I'd love to see a cammed 355 etc do that.

And as a note, I haven't had a single commodore that I've come across, manage to get infront of me yet.
