Hi guys, my first thread, hope you can help...

I have completed installation of the lsXtreme VE E1 HSV Gauge Wiring Harness.

I have plugged the Binnacle gauge pod in and except for a small blip on the gauges when I first turned the ignition on the gauges are not operating.

No Voltage meter showing, no Illumination when lights turned on.

I bought the gauges and saw them working in the previous owners car.

I have triple checked the connections, all are soldered.

Any suggestions. Fuses ?
Is it because my car is a V6?

The rest of the car is working fine...

The gauges are from a E1 Senator and my car is a S1 Calais V6. Both 2007.

Can I put a multi-meter across the harness plug terminals and see some voltage/output.
Does anything need to be programmed?

I have attached pic of gauges working in previous owners E1.

Thanks

Hans

Not sure if a V6 outputs the gauge data over the CAN, pretty sure it needs an E38 PCM to work.

Hi mate, were you able to sort this did the guages work? Having similar issues with a V8 series 1 Calais. Have wired up everythinh as per instructions by LSXtreme, however it feels there is no comms going to the guages.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@Fahad, if you click on hyjinx’s name you’ll notice he was last seen on the forum Dec 29 2020 so doubt you’ll get an answer.

I‘d think talking to LSXtreme about installing the product you bought into your exact model vehicle should yield some results.

The moduel with the guages as well. Somethings not right there seems to be no power to the guages. All connections are soldered.
