I'm tempted to try a tank of E10. But in my mind I fill it up, turn the ignition and then I immediately explode taking my small rural town with me.

i imagine that by the time you notice any ethanol related damage to fuel lines and injectors your car will already be on the scrap heap

I used E10 once, made my car gutless and uses more fuel.

Why not switch to 98? You get more power and uses less fuel over the same distance. Works out roughly to be the same price per KM travelled.

that may be the case in SA but here e10 is as low as 1.32

98 is as high as 1.50-1.60 or worse

with that margin its hard to recommend 98

just put E10 in today, cost about $20 less than the 95 last tank, will report it in about a week and will check the km too if i'll get the same distance, more or less

Cheers

Do use E10 in your car it will not damage it.
