Early 4l60e behind LS1

So I have a few questions and vice versas to throw out there.
Will a 4L60e from a VS (95) and torque convertor bolt up to an LS (all supporting mods done, spacers etc)?
Will the VS torque convertor work with a 4L60e from a VY, or is the geometry on the convertor different between the 2?

Already have the VS 4L60e and 3000 stall, would really like to NOT have to swap it all out just yet if it will all work

No. Not for V6 or 5L (you haven't mentioned what engine the source trans is from).

V6 uses the GM metric bolt pattern, 5L uses the Turbo Hydramatic bolt pattern, and LS essentially uses the SBC bolt pattern. The torque converters are different for all of them.

You can probably get some adapter, but IMHO (moreso for electronic boxes with a corresponding ECU) it's better and less dicking around to just get the right box.

What about a 4L60e from an 06/07 Crewman. They were coupled to 6ltr.

Sorry, the trans was behind a VS 5.0, have worked out that it is not possible.
