ECC Fault

So my 04 exec is coding an ECC fault which as far as I can tell from looking around here is a climate control issue, only thing is I don't have climate control? Being the early base model I've just got the standard heater / aircon options and a dial for adjustment but my understand of climate control is being able to pick a temperature.
Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Old thread from June 2019, and possibly hasn’t been on since

The OP fault sounds unusual,
And doesn’t really explain the fault,
Any HVAC system measures temp, and so will control the set inside temp,
So not sure what original fault is,

What is your fault with you HVAC system ?

It could also be the type of code reader used to grab the fault codes.
Holden use some unique codes and they may be misread.
