Ecotec into VZ conversion

Hi all,

Im wondering if anyone out there can help me out.
Im wanting to put a v6 ecotec in my vz. Its not road going so emission standards don't matter, I will be running it with a T5 trans also.
So what is required to do the conversion for the engine? Will the ecotec bolt straight into the VZ engine mounts? Or would a previous models k-frame bolt into the VZ? Or none of the above?

Honestly, given that you’d basically need a donor car to get everything from (and I mean EVERYTHING, engine, K-frame, wiring loom, etc), plus the possibility of the Ecotec computer not being compatible with the VZ’s electrical system, best way to do it is to simply sell your VZ and buy a VY. Basically the same car with an Ecotec factory fitted.
