awesome job mate
very nice mate! should get some high ratio roller rockers for her, give it a fair bit more poke up top
Hi 4bait, I love the project! I would like to pick your brains, i have an ecotech in a fibreglass jet boat and would like your opinion on the computer and wiring loom, as well as a few other things. Whats the best way to have a chat?
Certainly sounds like an Ecotec. Very nice work mate!
does this only have one gear? yea?
.... duplicate post
Mr vx I believe it's direct-drive.
Wow nice build there
yep it's just too bad a broken valve spring decided to put a piston into the sump after 10 hrs engine time at and below 4200rpm LOL but it still got us home with 2 hours running on 5 cylinders before the piston let go.
Next build will have heavy duty valve springs etc in order to prevent this happening again.
Mr VX yes it is more or less a direct drive just forward and neutral reverse but it the ratio to the prop is 1.83-1
I have enjoyed this build, and only found it because i am about to do this to my 17ft reinell. I was hoping you could re-post the pics of you header build because i am not able to see those photo's. nice build.
why cant i see any of these pictures??
The creator of this thread had his pictures hosted on Photobucket which used to be free to use. Photobucket have since changed their hosting policy so that if you want your pictures hosted with them to be publicly viewable you need to pay a massive yearly fee. Many other forums and threads have been effected by this.
Most people seem to be using Imgur now instead (the image hoster for Reddit).
I've fixed the pics for now but there is no guarantee how long they will work.
