G'day, I'm pretty new here, and Ive done a few searches and what not but i couldnt really find anything.

Anyways, I can get my hands on a supercharger from a vt commodore, but the thing is i drive a vz storm. Is it possible/relatively easy to install on my ute, or would it be a waste of time and money?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks for your time,

    Tom

Is it an aftermarket supercharger or one that can on the VT engine?

I'm sure there will be a few differences, the main one being a bracket to mount the charger to your engine. (if we are talking about an aftermarket charger)

No the eaton supercharger will not fit the alloytec, the heads are completely different. Only way to charge an alloytec is by turbo, raptor superchargers or capa superchargers. Brings me on the point that my supercharger kit is for sale

richard's kit will be your best bet. Btw anything can be made to work, just depends on your time, budget and thought process I suppose lol, seen that eaton on a 2uz jap V8, so it can be done.

The Alloytec engine is not unique to the Commodore, it is being used in a variety of US cars as well. I'm sure you can find someone that does an intake manifold to suit an Eaton supercharger in the states.

With enough money you can do anything. It all comes down to hp per $$

It would be difficult as the alloytec is a 60 degree engine and the ecotec is a 90degree engine. Would need to fill in 30 degrees somehow. The cost would not suffice the end result I would imagine
