hey all have a vs series 3 s pack ute 1998. just had a reco engine put in its done only 438ks has new heads reco radiator engine mounts i have a 69mm mace engineering ported and polished throttlebody and a cold air intake..

not really wanting to spend much more money on my car even though all my m8s say i should coz i have a brand new engine in it...

just thinking of getting my ecu remapped to suit the throttlebody and cold air... and better performance..

has anyone had there ecu re mapped? how much did it cost? make much differnce? does it make you use more fuel??

am i better off getting an aftermarket ecu?

You can get a tune by mail order to suit your mods through Doctor Bob on this site. People who have his chips rave about them. Or you can pay more and get a dyno tune it's up to you how much you want to spend.
