just looking at the diagram the fuel pump is actually switched with 12 volts from the ecu in the diagram will help more tomorrow been up 2 days allready brain needs rest before it has a meltdown LOL

thanks mate, take a break it sounds like you need it.
i already had pin 6 tagged as injector feed, just tried hardwireing it with the fuel pump but it is still doing the same thing.

are yopu modding it in the vn ready to swap out or what do you have a good engine earth etc

should have pin 4 ecu continous power 12v on the 6 pin plug by battery bottom row very left with clip facing up and the pink wire inside on the plug buy the ecu towards the middle of the car should go with injectors and fuel pump direct run

sounds like you have power on the pink but not on tghe right pin at the battery meaning the dfi is powered off the pink but the ecu isnt live

well i don't want to hi-jack your thread but im going to post some inspirational pics for ya and also to let you know your welcome to contact me if you want info on the conversion!

this is my ute at the moment








its a vr motor and box, and i have transplanted the entire wiring loom from the VR into it ... i figured that would be the easiest way to do it .... i still have to wire up all the dash gauges which will be the biggest challenge but im getting there slowly ....

i will be following this one with keen interest!!

thanks sammy, have you got the commy diff in that? those are the same rims on the back that are on my vn donor.
the front look commy as well, what stubs are you using?

i am modding it in the vn to swap out ready to go into the ek.
i have no power at any of the three pink wires, there are 2 on the big plug and 1 on the adld plug.
can i give it direct power without stuffing anything?
the ecu isnt in the kick panel anymore it is sitting in the eng bay.

put 12 volts on the pink wire at the ecu thats the main on off wire for the ecu when you turn on the ignition
