Terrific starting point for a pretty rare Holden these days. Good luck with the project - I will be watching for updates.

brought home the vn donor car today.
my mate gave it to me. he was going to use it as a donor for his hq tunna but decided to freshen up his 308instead.
i just finished for the day, i put the motor back in and wired it up. went to fire it and it wouldnt go, there was no power to the petrol pump, so i put a temp wire in to the relay and found that the pump is no good so i will try an get one tommorrow.
then i will start doin the wireing, i figure the warning lights, starter will be easy.
working out which wires for the relays etc will be the tricky bit.

thanks delco, i need some clarification.
ok so i decided to use the vn harness instead of making my own. so i cut the vn harness out. undid all the tape. then i started at the easiest point wire 4 is done.
wire 1 F/P relay control is that the relay output 87 or the relay input 86? i am thinking 86.
wire 2 oil pressure sender- where does it go to? The oil light or something else?
wire 3- does it join to fuel pump relay pin 87? and do i have to put a 1 way diode on it?
wire 6- pin 87 fuel relay?
will do this part of harness before i go to the others
cheers shane

now i started on the 8 pin
1-brown dfi wire, what does it need +ve -ve or something else?
2-goes to temp in dash
3-goes to oil light in dash
4-none
5- ac, wont have one do i need to have it hooked to anything?
6-tacho- wont have one shouldnt need it.
7- ac control- shouldnt need it
8-tcc solenoid, what should that hook to?

the other plug at the ecu(is that the comp in left kick panel) had nothing hooked to it so i shouldnt need to touch that or the adld plug

cheers shane
