Whenever my electric antenna goes up or down, it will click a few times, as it thinks it's either lower or higher than it actually is.

I'm aware it's a common issue, can anyone shed some light on how to fix it?

    Cheers

Same with my car, and my friends VX for that matter.

Argh, that sucks, I've replaced it twice already, the first time it was an aftermarket antenna so it didn't work, and this one clicks.

On a side note, I read/copied this from the Holden Faults website for a VP:

Anybody have more info on this?

Mine doesn't click when operating, but clicks when fully down about 5 clicks, and same when fully up I think.
What could be causing this, a faulty BCM running the motor for too long?

I have a VS by the way so I take it the power antenna is controlled by the BCM where on earlier cars it was a separate unit.

    Thanks.
