hey all i have a vr commodore and the electric mirrors dont work. does anyone else have same problem, or how do i fix it
A starting point would be check all fuses. Next is to pull the hand grip off (that contains the mirror adjuster) and test at the plug. Un-clip the plug, there should be about 7 or 8 wire male plug that goes through the door. If your wire coloring is the same as mine (pretty sure it will be) test between the pink wire (positive) and the black wire (negative). If you don't have 12v there check for 12v at the plug inside the car under dash on the same wires. If you have 12 at this plug replace wires. Pat
patchew_boy has done a pretty good job. Check fuses etc. Switch itself does go occasionally and is easy enough to pull out and put another in to try.
