EDIT:... Oh and if a Mechanic told you to do this, then i wouldn't let him work on your car.

LOL, here we go again. There would be one thing as cool as an electric supercharger....

Strapping a leaf blower to your throttle body.

    Hahahaha ^^^^ Too true!!

Buy one if you want. They don't do anything. They would be more of a restriction than anything.

    Buy a real supercharger dude.

Exactly, people build such retarded devices for people who can't afford big power mods (and fair enough for those people, not everyone can afford to spend $4000+ on superchargers and stroker kits etc) and they are out to rip them off in my opinion.

But that's why we are here, to warn people of such junk that claims to give power increases. It's bullshit mate, seriously, save your coin for an ACTUAL supercharger (centrifugal or positive displacement, the choice is yours, both give excellent gains), but save your cash for the good stuff.

A long time ago, I actually almost got one myself, i had the money ready. But i was sceptical. My mechanic would of died of laughter if he saw it in my car.

My mechanic would have confiscated my car if i had of put one on mine. And i would have realised i am not worthy of driving ANY car for buying an electric supercharger and putting it anywhere NEAR a car lol.

If these were a good idea, everyone would have the intake bent around to somehow sit in front of the fan. Compressed air and proper forced induction is the only way.

LOL, same here, and even in my computer tower they arn't doing a good enough job atm! It's new computer time anyways.

If you compare these "electric superchargers" if you compared it to a real supercharger (say 6PSI Boost) that's a **** load of work for one pissy little fan. They simply dont work that great, you feel the amount of air those small computer fans actually transfer and you might change your mind. If you want power without putting a supercharger on then look at cooling the air going into the engine. But i definatly suggest a supercharger :p

Wait, a mechanic actually suggested you buy one?

I have a test for you, next time you see him, and he asks you to pass you lets say a spanner. Hand him a screwdriver. Lets test his expertise.

Mate if you want an electric supercharger I will send you a 12 mm fan from my computer, ill post it to you for a bargain price of 99.95 because all that supercharger is, is a little fan in the intake pipe. If anything it would be a restriction.

Electric superchargers, of any kind = fail.

ahaha i ebayed' the electric charger...they claim gains of up to %25 holy F****N S***T thats a fraction of the price of quad turbo setup used on the buggatti Veyron... dont try it its almost as bad as the resistor that increases power by 15hp. you would get better results doing a home made underthe filter box cai with a k&n filter... plus those things would look like something from cheap as chips in ur engine bay too... save up, buy a HARROP
