2011 VE omega series II
How are ya guys?
I recently brought a series II 2011 VE omega, Everything has been fine till the other day I was driving I turned the car off and back on all of a sudden the head unit stopped working the screen is just black but the radio still makes noise. Also the rev gauge, fuel gauge and the temp gauge stopped working but the speedo still work and when I unlock it the blinkers dont work.
Has anyone else had this problem?
And how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance people

Sometimes the vehicle’s electronics seems to get itself into a knot. Like other electronics, turning off and on again often resolves the issue. So try disconnecting the battery terminals for a few minutes and then reconnect them.

From what I’ve read, it’s a common enough issue and doing the above often helps.

It’s also prudent to get your battery tested and replace it if the test fails.

Is it a Ex Police Car ?
If so, I read there is as switch up on the map light unit that can turn all/part of the dash lights off,
or
It Sounds like its in Stealth mode,

To activate stealth mode,
There is a up and down light dimmer buttons above the Head Light Switch,
Hold the 2 Dimmer Buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds, all the dash lights and accessories will turn off,
Except for the Speedo, and the Speedo Dash Lights,
Hold the both buttons down again, and it will return back to normal,
Full Dash lights and working accessories.
