What's your preferred brand of electrical tape?

I've used Nitto for decades, but am I using the best tape or just an easy to get, ok brand?
It does come away a bit easier than it did "back in the day".

Nitto isn't often mentioned when searching this question. Scotch 33+ and 88+ are mentioned a bit. Scotch (3M) is hard to find locally.

I have started using the engine bay electrical tape lately. The more cloth like type that is heat resistant a bit.

Also shifted to using TESA tape on interior applications.

Old looms used to be non adhesive vinyl tape, is anyone still using it?

What methods are you using to terminate the ends of the tape?
Pull and break? Cut? I wrap back a bit by getting to the end, wrapping back down the loom a few centimetres and then finish.

I've been using Nitto (from Bunnings) since DSE closed it's doors, it certainly does the job and is better than all other tapes available locally
