read about them a while back. can't say they'd be any good if you want a neck snapping change, and I reckon it'll kill your trans a bit quicker
Pretty much it overrides the ECU's normal shift maps, the idea is its like powermode but kicking in harder. i personally would advise against it on a stock tranny and instead spend the $300 ish on a stage two shift kit for the transmission itself, normally comes with adjusted and reinforced parts and most places would give the transmission a play with to make sure nothing will go in a hurry, more reliable, stronger and better.
i put one in my falcon it was good but didnt churp the wheels into second with the stock diff ration but when i put 4.11's in it it was good churped them into 2nd just get the stage 1 as with the stage2 which i had you can notoice the differance save you the $40 odd dollars, i put mine in there piritty easy come with very good instructions i got mine from www.shiftkits.com, i just got my stateo done by a automatics place they did a stage 2(mecanical) and corvette survo piston and its great but that was $330 the electric ones are deffently a good mod for there price
Hmmm...... Fair enough, im hearing good and bad points, i dunno, i guess ill see what happens then ey lol thanks guys
