Just curious if the auto dipping feature found on the vy/vz and Calais V can be enabled or if there is hardware that needs to be fitted.. after doing a fair bit of reverse parallel parking this week i figure its something i'd like to have on the car rather than manually adjusting the mirror. Cheers in Advance.. Also for any holden techs that may know, what is the cost of the child seat anchor point, i like the look of the factory ones over the aftermarket ones
I think the anchor points are about $35 a each. http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/ve-holden-commodore-2006/209381-child-anchor-points-ve-ss-z-series-sedan.html
For the auto dipping mirror, you need the memory drivers seat (As that has the controller for the mirror memory), and you need the mirrors top go with it. (The mirrors have potentiometers in them to give the memory module feedback as to their position). You will also need to add the extra wiring through the doors for the mirrors, and wiring to the seat memory module. A fair bit of work to do, but not impossible. Cheers
