just have the engine in bits and have some loose money, what should i do to get the v6 going? im in the middle of doing the valley gaskets and was thinking if doing the head gaskets so may aswell get in there while i have 2 weeks off.. im open to any suggestions at all so lay em on me!
what are cams worth these days.. could probly get a 5L for the same price.. im looking more at prepping for a blower further down the track
id say to be on the safe side replce timming chain and tensioner.....gaskets (sump....timming cover....rear main seal.....head..inlet manifold......pretty much all gaskets) welch plugs....anything thats a prick to do while the engin is in the car do while its out
Weld a length of chain to it and sit it on the front of your uncles Dominator. Get yourself an 8 and start with something worth while :thumbsup: Reaper (Runs and ducks for cover)
well while the heads are off.... get them ported and shaved, 1.8:1 rockers and check the valve seats and stem seals while your there.... should give it a bit more go for a fair price
